The mission of our Resilient Souls® victim advocacy program is to assist crime victims in mitigating trauma, navigating the legal process, ensuring their integral role in the case, and helping them rebuild their lives. We also strive to raise awareness among law enforcement officials, criminal justice personnel, and the community about the unique needs of victims.

We provide compassionate, respectful, and sensitive assistance, advocacy, and support to victims, their families, friends, and the communities to which they belong. Our services include:

  • Advocacy on behalf of victims;

  • Criminal justice support and advising victims of their rights;

  • Assisting victims with writing impact statements;

  • Assistance in evidence return;

  • Accompaniment to appointments and court appearances;

  • Assistance in obtaining protective orders;

  • Crisis intervention, counseling referrals, and emotional support;

  • Safety planning; and

  • Assisting attorneys and prosecution during the case.
